About TEN
The Entrepreneurial Network (TEN) is an incubation centre by Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology. The objective is to promote entrepreneurship and innovation as a mechanism for social impact. The centre serves as a launch pad and support system which is meant to facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs and start-ups in initiating their business ideas and turning them into viable business models.
The whole theme behind the TEN is to create a conducive work environment for young entrepreneurs. The aim of TEN is to back the young help the young minds, pass through the infant vulnerable tenure of their start-ups, when environment can be significantly more hostile in a developing economy where services remain inadequate, inaccessible or expensive.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Mission
TEN will build an ecosystem to incubate and support innovative ideas to assist start-ups, by marshalling the resource of the centre. Categories of KIET Incubation Centre:
Objectives:
- At least 5 business ideas to be realized each year
- 3 seminars with successful entrepreneurs and investors in a year
- At least 1 Training session with well-known organization be held in each of the regular semester to promote student on hand training in launching new ventures.
- Promotion of TEN so it is clearly recognized as a separate entity of the CoMS for developing entrepreneurial base of students. Social media and word of mouth are the primary mode. Brochures are to be developed and distributed in organization run by entrepreneurs, especially KIET alumni.
- At least 2 Sponsorship to be acquired per year to undertake specific activities pertaining entrepreneurial activities in KIET.
- Develop links with local and foreign business and universities. 1 with business and 1 with university per year.
